I Got the 2nd Cycle Calendar!

How exciting!  Honestly this waiting between cycle's has been driving me crazy!  I'm still going to have to wait until the end of this month before the shot's start, but at least we have a calendar now!  The calendar is below.  They never want to copy paste right! Also, the last week of the first month is the first week in the second month.  I hope that makes some kind of sense!  They overlap!

Feeling a Little Lonely...

Wow.  Who would have thought that waiting for the next cycle would be lonely?  I'm sure it has to do with an accumulation of things, such as Jesse's new NOC shift, being dumped by a friend, not feeling motivated for anything (i.e. school, gym, diet)....kinda depressed.  I never see my fiance, all of my good friends seem to live hundreds of miles away, and my friends that are close are super busy with their own families that I feel like I'm imposing on them....to top it off, the only co-worker I trust is in our Bend office so I feel super uncomfortable.....I'm lonely.  I guess I can blame it on my hormones changing, but I know that my loneliness is real.  I'm isolated at work and at home my only companion's are my children (who are amazing, but sometimes you need adult time).  I don't have the distraction of needles and appointments to keep me occupied.  I need a hobby.....

I am sorry for the sob self pity blog entry, but I need a safe place to vent.

So, I Was Off by a Month!

The endocrinologist wants to wait until my next cycle to start the next IVF cycle....meaning my calculations in the prior post were off by a whole month!  The transfer will occur on May 3rd and the due date will be January 19, 2012...two days after my youngest Jocelyn's birthday! 

I wonder if they are going to want to transfer more than one embryo this time, or if they are going to transfer two!?!  What do you think???  I want to ask, but something is keeping me from asking that particular question, so I haven't and I probably won't.

The Worst is Over and a New Cycle Begins....

I started my period which is no fun at all, obviously.  In fact, on top of the whole thing, I have had flu like symptoms and even missed half a day of work.  The pain was miserable and I have been living on 800 mgs of Ibuprofen every 4 hours, per the nurse's instructions.  I haven't been able to work out this week and of course only twice last week.  I feel like a lump of crap.  I'm going today, I don't care how I feel. 

Things are not bad, I'm glad that part is over with, so now we can move on!  I have started taking the birth control pills and will be receiving a new calendar soon.  I tried my hand at calculating the date of the transfer and the due date, although I really don't know what I am doing.  The transfer date I got was April 5th, with a due date of Dec. 22nd.  We will find out soon enough how close or far I am from the actual dates!

It's a No-Go on the Embryo.

All laughter aside, I am quite devastated.  I knew with the intial Beta numbers that the chances were slim to none, but I still held hope.  Now I am to stop taking all meds and wait for aunt flo to show up.  We will try another cycle in a few weeks when I start my period.  I will keep you informed.

The Test Was a Low Positive...Positive Energy and Prayer's Appreciated! :)

I am sorry that I didn't update this yesterday.  I was super busy.

The test came back positive.  The Beta numbers are very low and I will be getting another test done on Monday to make sure that they have gone up.  I had a dream last night that they were in the 200's for my next test, which is really good.  Let's keep those good thoughts and prayers coming please!
